Medicare enrollees generally do not have to pay premiums for Medicare Part A, however; they will have monthly premiums if they are enrolled in Part B. Most enrollees pay $104.90 each month for Part B in 2015.
If a person adjusted gross income is more than $85,000 (for singles) or $170,00 (If married and filling jointly) you will pay $146.90 to $335.70 per month each month.
If a person is receiving Social Security benefits, the monthly premium will be deducted from your monthly benefits. If you have not signed up for Social Security benefits, you will receive a monthly bill for the premiums.
As with other monthly bills, you may pay your premiums by credit card, check, or your bank’s online bill payment service. You may also enroll in Medicare Easy Pay, which will automatically deducts your premium payments from your savings or checking account every month.
